About Arlevia Rogers

Arlevia is a San Francisco native who starting at a young age has always had a love and passion for makeup and hair. However she didn't decide to follow the beat of her own drum until 2017. 

In 2012, she received her Bachelors of Science in Sales & Marketing from Tuskegee University but never stopped elevating her craft in her free time. Before graduating she became a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated and helped organized a beauty event with her fellow sorors and beauty enthusiasts which they coined in the Blue Light Lounge. She would also help with hair and makeup for the sorority step shows and other student events on campus.

After obtaining her degree she went on to work for a telecommunications company doing makeup for friends and family on the weekends. However after 4 years on corporate America she felt her glass ceiling had been reached, so she finally decided to follow the beat of her own drum. In 2017 she enrolled at the Cinta Aveda Institute to study Cosmetology.

While enrolled in beauty school she took additional courses to become a certified Makeup Artist and was able to transition some of her hair guest to her make-up clients. While in school she also had the pleasure of working on-set with a comedian and former host of the VIEW as well as working behind the scenes for various local photo shoots and shows.

Arlevia knows that hair and makeup play a big role in one’s daily routine and believes daily application and treatment should be use to elegantly finesse one’s own beauty.
